Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Alpha Gal Prep (the "Site"), operated by Columbia Software Works LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), including our free tools, content, and any digital kits you purchase. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

Educational purpose. Alpha Gal Prep provides general educational and organizational tools. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and using it does not create a physician-patient relationship. See our Medical Disclaimer.

Who can use the Site

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to purchase a kit, and able to enter into a binding agreement. The Site is intended for users in the United States.

Educational use only; no medical advice

All tools and content are for general education and personal organization.
We do not diagnose conditions, recommend treatment, or tell you whether any food, medication, or product is safe for you.
Always confirm personal health decisions with a licensed clinician, pharmacist, or other qualified professional.
In an emergency, call your local emergency number or seek immediate care.

Purchases, licenses, and refunds

Digital products. Kits are digital downloads for your personal, non-commercial use. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use them; you may not resell, redistribute, or publish them.
Payment. Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout and may change over time.
Guarantee / refunds. If a kit doesn't help you feel more prepared, email us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. The guarantee covers the materials, not any medical outcome.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Copy, resell, or redistribute our content or kits except as expressly allowed.
Use the Site to break the law or infringe others' rights.
Interfere with the Site's operation or security, or attempt unauthorized access.

Intellectual property

The Site and its content — text, tools, templates, graphics, logos, and brand assets — are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited license above, we reserve all rights.

Third-party links and affiliates

The Site may link to third-party websites and products, including affiliate links. We don't control and aren't responsible for third-party sites or products. See our Affiliate Disclosure.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and kits are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the content is complete, current, or error-free, or that the Site will be uninterrupted or secure.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Columbia Software Works LLC and its owners and contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Site or kits. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site or a kit will not exceed the amount you paid us for that kit in the 12 months before the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Columbia Software Works LLC from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.

Changes to the Site and Terms

We may change or discontinue parts of the Site and may update these Terms. Updates take effect when posted with a revised "Effective" date; continued use means you accept them.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Columbia Software Works LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
